Tested this with DB2 and it seems to be working reasonably well.

The only minor problem is that the 'finish' button has to be clicked twice on the connection parameters window in order to continue.

I'm still not having much luck getting this to work in the Eclipse environment. With the branch/1.0.x, had to use the manual run setup to get things going at all but no uDIG menu bars items appear. With trunk, I also had to use the manual run setup. Was able to load/display layers but the map display on restart doesn't work.
