Dear Eclipse Tractus-X Committers, You should have received an email from our automated process regarding the new Kubernetes and PostgreSQL versions. From the System Team's perspective, we plan to enforce an upgrade of Kubernetes after the release 24.03, subject to the availability of AKS. I don't foresee any issues since I'm not aware of any critical deprecations. However, if you have significant concerns, please test your setup promptly and voice them! Regarding PostgreSQL: The System Team will not advocate for an upgrade to version 16. Why? The push for version 15 was primarily for alignment purposes. The release included products that utilized both PostgreSQL 14 and 15. If any of you wish to pursue an upgrade, initiate discussions. PostgreSQL 15 is supported for several years, but if you're aware of features or performance improvements you strongly desire, coordination across products will be necessary. We aimed to be very specific in the email itself. Personally, I recommend considering the upgrade, as PostgreSQL versions exhibit excellent compatibility and offer significant performance and feature enhancements.
