Al Heitman is one of the authors of the original IBM contribution to Aperi.
 He has spent the last 20 years in the storage software business, the
majority of that time as a developer.  He held various positions in
software and firmware roles, his last being the TPC Fabric team lead, prior
to becoming a project manager 18 months ago.  Al holds several storage
management patents and has been involved in the legal side of IBM open
source activities.  Given the requirements for the Aperi Project Lead role,
I believe Al is excellently suited and would do a super job.
