[sumo-user] getConnections() returns empty list

Dear all,
I am trying to get the direction of each connection in my network
using sumolib, but somehow I get empty lists. This is what I am trying
to do:
Am I using the function in the wrong manner? Because I can see the
connection exists when I pull the outgoing edges...
