The character is fine. The error is a regression in 1.10.0 which is fixed in the latest development version (to be released as 1.11.0 next week).

Dear all,

when I import ptstops from OSM and load them in NETEDIT I get several errors because the stop names contain invalid characters. The invalid character is actually slash "/" which made me wonder what could be the reason for not accepting / in the stop name.
