The speedThreshold of laneAreaDetector is configured in the additional-file declaration: https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Simulation/Output/Lanearea_Detectors_%28E2%29.html

Many defaults are configured with sumo options and those can be set via traci.start

We would very much appreciate information on how to change default parameters (speedThreshold in particular). I would expect that there is a very simple way to do this. If it is documented, a reference to the location would suffice. We are using TraCI, so if it can be changed from within TraCI then even better.
