Re: [sumo-user] Unable to add Instantaneous Loop detectors at the beginning and end of the an edge (3 lanes)

Hello,
this is a known bug which has been fixed in the latest development version (https://github.com/eclipse/sumo/issues/8692)
You can obtain a fixed version at https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Downloads.php#sumo_-_latest_development_version

Alternatively,
- edit your xml file by in a text editor (you can define pos="-100" to count backwards from the end of the lane)
- or edit your network so that the geometrical length matches the assigned edge length

regards,
Jakob

Hello All,
I am trying to set up instantaneous loop detectors on my SUMO network on one specific edge. I want the detectors to be located at 100 ft after the edge begins and 100 ft before the end of the edge.

I was able to set up the  instantaneous loop detectors on all three lanes at 100 ft from the edge starting point but NETEDIT doesn't allow me to add instantaneous loop detectors 100 ft before the end of the edge. Could someone please let me know what the issue might be?

I have attached the NETEDIT file here for reference. Thanks in advance for your help!
