[sumo-user] What is the function of making trips from OD matrix?

Dear Sumo Users,

I find that the results of making trips from O/D matrix (as far as O/D matrix does not change) always are the same. So, it seems that the function of making trips is not random.

Is there any documentation about how the Sumo generates trips from O/D matrix? I want to know information such as

- The time that a vehicle is inserted into the network (Is it randomly selected from the time interval, or using uniform distribution or ...)

- How to select a trip from O/D matrix? (randomly selected or defining the trip from top to bottom of O/D matrix (So the order of writing TAZ in O/D is important))
