the format of your net file doesn’t looks correct… If you still have the input files you used to generate the net (box5.nod., box5_lms10.edg.xml), you can use netconvert and generate a new net. To do this you can follow the steps in this tutorial.

Otherwise, since your net is quite simple, you can generate the net using netedit. In this tutorial you can see the steps to follow.

 

You can download the last sumo version (1.8.0) from here. And in this link you can find more tutorials, maybe they can also be helpful for you 😊
