Re: [sumo-user] Definition of average acceleration in vehicle types

The exact semantics of the accel parameter vary by carFollowModel. For the default Krauss model you can only define the maximum acceleration. For IDM, the parameter is more of an average.
If you need more variety in your fleet, consider https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Tools/Misc.html#createvehtypedistributionpy

Dear all,

I have a question concerning the variables that I can define for the vehicle types. Except of the maximum acceleration for each vehicle type (accel parameter), is there any way to define the average acceleration for the vehicle types?

Looking forward to your response.

Kind regards,

Charis
