Re: [sumo-user] Are the data contains "Teleporting Vehicle" Trust-able?
|
Yes. If changing time to teleport has no impact (big) on results, that would be an excellent sign. You can completely disable teleporting by setting time-to-teleport to a negative value.
Great Thanks Dear Jakob,
As far as I am interested in studying traffic jams, I got this warning a lot.
I use sumo_gui, and by running "config_file.sumocfg" I get the results.
Bests,
Reihaneh
In one of our projects where we simulate the city of berlin in a mesoscopic simulation we're using the rule of thumb to "not worry about teleports" if less than 1 in 250 vehicles is affected.
However, it's hard to give a general rule on this. In any case, I recommend looking at a representative sample of teleports to check whether they are part of plausible/realistic jamming or whether they point to errors in network, traffic light or traffic demand modelling.
regards,
Jakob
Dear Members,
My question is that can we trust the data-simulation that contains "teleporting vehicle"? From trust, I mean that the data can cause a valid fundamental diagram or any other information.
More explicitly: How many vehicles (percent) can get this error while we still can trust the output data?
Best regards,
Reihaneh
