Hello,

I am working with the TAPAS Cologne scenario
(https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Data/Scenarios/TAPASCologne.html).

I noticed that in the road graph it uses, there are cluster nodes as
well as AddedOnRampNode and AddedOffRampNode.

I am wondering how they work. I believe cluster nodes are a cluster of
nodes that are close together in the OSM graph, merged into one. Is that
correct?

It seems that AddedOnRampNode and AddedOffRampNode nodes are highway
nodes of degree two. How are they generated?

Is it what is explained in:
https://sumo.dlr.de/docs/Developer/Network_Building_Process.html#351_modifying_the_sets_of_nodes_and_edges
? What step would it be?

Thanks a lot!

Best,
Antoine
