Whenever a vehicle cannot perform a desired strategic change, this is automatically signaled to the blocking vehicles on the target lane which may react with their own lane changing or speed adjustments.

lane-changing. I was wondering to know how a vehicle recognize that another
vehicle intends to change its lane.
