Hello Radha,

I don't know if I understand your question correctly, but if you want to estimate the real number of vehicles arriving at the intersection, 
I think the easiest way is to request the most recent data from the municipality or to do manual counting in the field. 
And you have to count for each lane and each direction (straight ahead, turn left, right, etc.). 

In other words, if we do not provide accurate data to SUMO, it cannot deduce it for us.

May be I did not explain my question clearly.

For example, I have specified the traffic arrival rate is 0.1Veh/S, then what is the rate of vehicles that are injected from each road (from the North road, for instance).

This was my question.

In TraCI, I have mentioned the traffic arrival rates (eg., 0.1 to 0.5) that follow random.uniform(0, 1) < traffic arrival rate.

My doubt is how to estimate/understand the vehicles entering rate from each direction, i.e., North, East, South, and West.
