Re: [sumo-user] Sumo crashes

Dear Jakob

Thanks for the help. The problems have been solved.
However, I have another question. Maybe you can help me again.

I am working with normal trucks (using fuels) and EVs.
As output, I need the fuel consumption for the normal trucks and the energy consumption for EVs.
Therefore, I use the emissions device. In the declaration of the vTypes, I state "HBEFA3/LDV" for the conventional trucks and "Energy/unknown" for the EVs.
I do not use the battery device. Is this the right way to get the correct output regarding the energy consumption of EVs?
I get output values, but I am not sure if these are correct. for example, a trip of 5514 meters has a value for 'electricity_abs' equal to 15462 Wh. This would mean that the efficiency is extremely low.
Perhaps the parameter 'electricity_abs' is not expressed in Wh?

Thank you in advance.

Dear Jakob

Thank you for the quick answer. I will try it with this version and let you know if I still have issues.

Which version of sumo are you using?
Please check if the crash still occurs when using the development verson of sumo: http://sumo.dlr.de/daily/sumo-msvc12x64-git.zip
If the development version also crashes, please send me all input files for reproducing the crash.

regards,
Jakob

Dear all

I have a road network created by Netconvert, nine rou.xml files created by randomTrips.py and two trips.xml that a made manually.
If I try to run the simulation, it crashes always at the same time (time 4237). However, if I run the trips.xml files and the rou.xml files separately in the network, the simulation finishes without any problems.
Can someone tell me what could be the reason for the crash? The two trips.xml files both contain a maximum of 900 trips each, the rou.xml files contain between 5000 and 8000 routes each.

I had some traffic jams in the past, but I adapted the road network and it seems to me that this problem has been solved. (The trips and routes are adapted to the new road network)

Thank you in advance!
Bram
