C-ITS is part of the European future standards related to Intelligent Transportation Systems. If you are interested in such topics, you should try the VEINS framework. This framework embeds standard related to US, European and Japanese ITSs, it is based on TraCI and allows bidirectional coupling between Omnet++ and SUMO,
