1. RELEASE PLANNING
Target date for 1.3 is now 1/31/12. The date for the code freeze and Release Candidate is 1/24/2012.
> Stefan will contact Wayne @ Eclipse re review.
Release will make shape file importer available in a downloadable version despite outstanding issues with open map.
>Jamie will work on a new plug in w/o open map.
>Matthias will put on a private server or arrange for Ari to do so.
>Matthias will send short explanatory statement for website to Jamie to use to update plan page for 1.3.
>Fix will be temporary.
Need presentation slides for 1.3.
Need 1.3.1 plan.
>Will start a STEM-Dev discussion.

*Improved graph editor (Save-As needs to be implemented)
*Initializers (Chris); problems w/content for infectors, inoculators; will update/link scenario & documentation.

Need better organization for wiki.

3. CONTINUED DISCUSSION ON MODELING OF FOOD MEDIATED DISEASES
*Transformation decorator broke integration. Is some transformation more continuous? Does some need to be in different class? Does food consumption = food transformation?
*Chris: Has done some renaming, will send proposal on changes to stem.dev for discussion prior to potentially committing to Eclipse.

5. ITEMS FROM PARTICIPANTS
>Jamie: Updating malaria paper.
>Matt: Updating EZRI (?) for use w/ STEM.
>Chris: Has encountered EMF bug, items disappear when new items are added; will send scenario w/ instructions on how to reproduce to Matt, Jamie; is serious, may need a workaround.
>Alec: Joining call; a biologist, has a long list of diseases for possible study. Jamie: Have 10 years of shigella data from Israeli CDC .
>Jamie: Interested in visiting BFR, collaborating on joint abstracts for upcoming conferences.
>Matthias: Will post conferences (mostly European) they are planning to attend on Newsgroup, also upcoming conference on food safety to be held in Orlando, FL, they can’t get to.
>Matthias: Possible collaboration on proposal for International Symposium on Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics (ISVEE) in Maastricht, Belgium, 20-24 August 2012.
