Hmm, not sure. The press release delay decision was taken at the
Working Group, rather than PMC level. (For example, I don't know if
Tracy/Ian/Marc/Mike monitor the PMC mailing list).

Unless you update the release record on the PMI the release will
continue to memorialised as today, so my opinion is that you should
announce to your project when it is ready (i.e. today), and the press
release will be going out in a while.
