Re: [science-iwg] Science TLP Project Management Committee

Torkild,

IC, thanks, so it's for leaders of existing Science projects.
No problem, I still have the impression, STEM could be a good addition to the Science TLP if all involved wish to go that way. Not only due to recent threats (Zika also reached the US now, before that other diseases like Ebola or Bird/Swine Flu, and of course all the others like Malaria or HIV) it has a rather lively community and 3.0.3 was just released shortly after the annual release train, so I assume it would also contribute to a regular release cycle in most cases.

Happy to pitch it if an Unconference took place in Ludwigsburg. And I'll talk to STEM team during the next call or if Jamie was able to meet us during JavaOne there in person.

I saw Eclipse has a booth, is anything planned for Science projects or someone coming (other than Wayne or Mike from Eclipse itself)

Kind Regards,

Werner

Werner,

I would not assume that. The steering committee felt that initially it would be appropriate having the current SWG projects represented, so that?s what we went for. I guess once the PMC has been formed it will take it from there.

Best regards,
Torkild

Torkild is correct. Our intention was to provide initial PMC candidates.
After it is established, the PMC can adjust future membership requirements
as they see fit.
