Re: [rdf4j-dev] CQ for maven plugins

The CQ Bart mentions is this one: https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=20318

It covers most of our maven plugins, and as you can see it has a version range for most of them. I don't know if the rules for plugins have recently changed but as long as your version bump is covered by the range in that CQ you're in the clear.

Apart from anything else though, I want to be kept in the loop on plugin updates, as they potentially affect the overall project build quite significantly. What plugin were you considering upgrading?

Not sure if this is still required, maybe the handbook has (also) been updated on this topic, I’ll have to check..

Previously it was acceptable to just create one single CQ, listing all the plugins and other tools, with a small note that these were just build tools.

Best regards

Subject: [rdf4j-dev] CQ for maven plugins

Hi,

Was wondering if we need to do CQs for upgrading maven plugins.
