We are doing a first pass at our SC11 tutorial slides.  I'll add a slide for that. :)

Yes, in fact I asked this very question at the TG BOF. :)

I keep getting asked this over and over again. It would be good if it was in the release notes...

      Greg,

Bingo.  That takes care of it.
I’d characterize the other issues as small annoyances, hopefully something we can figure out sometime, but nothing that prevents it from being useable –

      Jay,

Go into Preferences>Run/Debug and click on Launching. Uncheck "Build (if required) before launching". Does that stop the build from happening?

      Beth,
      Windows 7 client
Remote project build – (makefile) -  OK
      openMPI run – OK
      pbsgenericbatch – OK
      pbs generic interactive – OK
      synchronized c/c++
builid – makefile – clean and all OK
run: openMPI – with synchronized project, after select project, noted that don’t start in project directory (like traditional remote project), but start at homedir (application tab) (think this is due to a different method to browse the directory, this one shows all files in addition to subdirs, while for remote project, only shows subdirs)
run: pbs-generic-batch-sync – – with synchronized project, after select project, noted that don’t start in project directory (like traditional remote project), but start at homedir (application tab).  After run, display becomes unresponsive (mysteriously), for period of minutes – and then recovers.  Second try at same thing does not exhibit strange unresponsive behavior.
Run: pbs-generic-interactive-sync - with synchronized project, after select project, noted that don’t start in project directory (like traditional remote project), but start at homedir (application tab)

For all remote runs, not sure why we do build before run – this seems superfluous, could be very annoying for large projects –

      As usual, please test!
This should be the final build
