Re: [ptp-dev] PTP's Indigo RC2 parallel package is available

Jay,

1. The environment problem should be fixed in RC3 (there's a new build today which has the fix, so you could try updating). Bug 344380.

2. As far as I know, no-one is working on the legacy PBS RM as all our efforts are going into the new RM. So this is unlikely to be fixed. Not sure if there is a bug for this.

3. The new PBS RM *should* be working by RC3. The problem is not with the control side, but the monitoring (LML) side. We are currently working to address this. The Parallel Runtime (LML) perspective will contain new views, once we get these issues addressed. Bug 309343 is the main bug. There is no bug for the perspective issue, but we are aware of the problem.

Regards,
Greg

I guess the questions I have are:
·         Do we know which of these will be fixed by RC3?
·         Do we have bugs open on them currently?

Hi package maintainers,

the package builds for Indigo RC2 are available, please test and send your vote to this mailing list (as soon as possible...).
Most packages are available from

  http://build.eclipse.org/technology/epp/epp_build/indigo/download/20110526-1100/

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I fixed another old bug (see [1]), but this resulted in another problem (see [2]). The good news is that we found the problem in RC2 and not later. The fixed Parallel Packages are available from

  http://build.eclipse.org/technology/epp/epp_build/indigo/download/20110526-1317/

Thanks and regards,
Markus
