Offhand that id issue sounds fishy to me.  But I need to look carefully at what you've done.  Right now, I'm in the middle of some other stuff ... perhaps we can discuss this on the call tomorrow.

It doesn't seem right that you should have to redefine all those extension points; in effect your plugin should only contain:

1. an extension definition mapping a name to a configuration file location.  This extension would contribute to the JAXB extension point.

2. The actual configuration xml.
