Re: [ptp-dev] Updated PTP Wiki to add current PE resource manager info

Al
I think the TabFolder approach used in PE and LL is needed since there's so many values to set. I chose to do that rather than a single scrollable list to try to make it easier for users to find an option.

If my understanding of the proposed approach is correct, then I'm thinking there's a configuration file that contains all of the information I currently get from the attribute definitions sent by the proxy. With the configuration file approach, I'd think the definition for each environment variable could contain the additional info like displayable widget type, a group name which specifies the tab where the widget appears and the specification of which OS and LoadLeveler/non LoadLeveler permutation the environment variable use was valid. The user could modify this file as they chose to control what appeared and on what tab.

Before I head out of town this morning, I just wanted to ask the following:  aside from allowing for groupings in the configuration, then, we should also allow for tabs such as the ones in PE/LL.  That way we can provide for the kind of exposure/non-exposure of advanced features as these have.  In PBS I allowed the user to customize which attributes were displayed as well, and this is something which can still be done, but probably belongs to the runtime configuration rather than the type configuration that Greg and I have been discussing.
