Cool... I look forward to taking a look at that.
I know the overhead for Open Type can be problematic so I am curious to see how it performs.

Hi guys!
I have added some functionality to the remote indexing service in RDT namely "text hover" and "navigation browser" ("Open type..." dialog). I have posted complete patches to HEAD on bugzilla (Bug 306678 and Bug 306679).
I hope you find it useful.
