It looks like the RC4 build was successful ( http://wiki.eclipse.org/PTP/builds/2.1) . If you get a chance, please take a look and let me know if you see anything that requires a respin. Assuming everything is ok, we can declare the release first thing Monday.

If anyone has any problems with this, let me know asap.
I agree that we'll need a 2.1.1 release fairly soon, particularly to address some of the remote issues.
Since I'm not going to be at SC in Austin, I'll leave it up to those attending to announce the release at the BOF, publicly thank all those who participated, and collect input for the 2.1.1 and future releases.

I think there are folks who need the release to be done, for their own projects, and they are not dependent on the parts that still need the most bug fixes.
I think we are looking at another point release (2.1.1?) fairly soon then.

The development of Open MPI RM plugins and launch/debug plugin changes is practically finished, we can accept a release tomorrow.
However, since there are still some important bugs to be fixed on other plugins, I agree to delay the release.

Here is the current list of bugs. At this stage it's looking like RDT and PTP are basically independent. RDT can't use Remote Tools (even without indexing) and the PTP debugger still needs to be remote enabled to work with the RDT editor. Also, I have been unable to build the TAU Fortran component (even with Vivian's help!)
So, do we want to go ahead and release as-is tomorrow? Please let me know +1 or -1 for the release. I'm willing to take input from non-committers as well. My view is that it would be better to delay things until we have better integration, but I know some folks need a release for their products.
If we go ahead, I'll spend the day updating the documentation. Otherwise I will continue working on PTP/RDT integration issues.
