Re: [ptp-dev] RE: About PTP's support for resource manager

I'd strongly caution against taking and modifying PTP until I commit a huge set of changes this week or early next week. I've completely revamped much of the interface between the monitoring and control systems, additionally Randy is looking to commit some resource manager changes based on my changes. I'm having to go through and fix a ton of conflicts and once my changes go in I've got bad feeling yours will have to be changed as well. On a good note, the changes I'm making are mostly simplifications so you should find it easier (not harder) to implement SLURM - at least I hope! :)

Hi Randy,

I'm very interested in this issue.
In fact, we are modifying PTP according to our currently used SLURM RM.
If possbile, I'd like to help to implement the SLURM support.
Then how can I be involved in the development?

Best regards,
Jie Jiang
