Jeff,
the screenshots don't need to be redone.

Erich, Jim
Is there a statement as to which look screen shots should use? If people
have been doing screen shots today they will have the "advanced" look
whereas if they did them yesterday or later today they will not. Just
looking for clarification.

yes - the PMC has requested this change. So here is the background...
Support for more syntax coloring options was a highly requested feature
from the community.
The text team has delivered this functionality some time ago. However, what
took us longer
than expected, was to come up with a set of colors and styles that
leverages the new power.
We finally got a set of colors into the RC3 build. After having used the
new colors over
the weekend there was confidence that we are on the right track. The PMC
has therefore
decided on Monday to make this new functionality available out-of-the-box
so that
new users do not have to discover it.
What we have neglected in our excitement was that by doing so we have
excluded
the outside community from providing feedback. Community feedback is highly
important to us. So here is what we will do to fix this:
* we will flip back and not enable advanced coloring out of the box
* we will mention in the tips&tricks how this option can be enabled

[platform-releng-dev] Java
editor defaults changed
Please respond to
platform-releng-dev@xxxxxxxxxxx
In last night's build it appears that the default behaviour of the Java
editor has changed:
- static members are now italic
- methods are bold
- fields are blue
- ...
Some issues,
- I don't think this change was reviewed or approved
- this will hose anyone who has been creating screen shots
Please revert or justify the change.
Jeff
