Re: [papyrus-rt-dev] Papyrus-RT release status - 2016-10-17

Hi,

The wiki has been updated, so the link should work for everyone.

Updating the preferences is only if you want to see them in a browser, in the footer of the Bugzilla page. I find this useful on a phone for example.

Regards,

Rémi

Hi,

It would be simpler just to paste the original query URLs into the wiki page, rather than try to share canned searches.  Yes, they are big ugly URLs with loads of parameters, but that doesn’t matter if the link text is humand-friendly.

Hi,

I had still of course to activate them in my preferences area, if I want to see them in the footer.

I needed also to use a slightly different link from the wiki

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?cmdtype=dorem&list_id=15252770&namedcmd=Papyrus-RT%200.8%20toClose&remaction=run&sharer_id=181405

vs

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?cmdtype=runnamed&namedcmd=Papyrus-RT%200.8%20toClose&list_id=15252771

the biggest difference is the sharer_id added. I will update the wiki in that direction.

Rémi

Hi Rémi,

Thanks for the pointer! I have made those three saved searches available to everyone with “editbugs” privileges. From my understanding of the bugzilla documentation, from the link you sent, that should be sufficient (or its?)

Hi Charles,

I moved 2 bugs from resolved/verified to close on the list of 17 bugs.

I tried the preset queries on the wiki page [1], but this kind of query is not shared by default (seehttps://www.bugzilla.org/docs/3.0/html/query.html). Can you update the 3 links so we can also have them ‘live’.

This is also the kind of queries we could share on the oomph setup for developers.

Regards,

Rémi

We still have four (4) bugs with an “Assigned" status that are gating the 0.8 release.

As well, we currently have 17 bugs that have either a “Resolved” or a “Verified” status that need to be moved to “closed.”

Your collaboration is greatly appreciated to move those forwarded so we can make the release without further delays.

You can get more information, as well as links to the bugs, in today’s release status.

Thank you all for your efforts - we’re almost there!

Sincerely,

Charles Rivet
