That part is interesting and wide open, which means we will have to monitor it closely and come up with suggestions. There is a question of whether this is third-party attestation or self-attestation. I don’t think any third-party program will scale enough in time. Maybe they think that it can be divided depending on criticality of the product.
Very interesting. As a few on this knows I am working on an API for sharing artefacts in OWASP - the transparency exchange API. I have since before included the EU certificate of conformity in the work, but these attestations should of course be there as well for automatic discovery and download.

Attestations are mentioned in Article 25. The Commission is empowered to author delegated acts to define them further.

I too am interested in understanding this better. I'd suggest that "Attestations" would be a good Open Source Specification Project for the WG.
