[lsp4e-dev] Dependencies in lsp4e

We are exploring to use Generic Editor with lsp capabilities. We were checking the dependencies of lsp4e.

It has so many dependencies including mylyn. If I understand correctly, mylyn is for task management. Why are we making this plugin on those plugins?

Is there a way to make those dependencies optional (if they are used as such)?
