Hi Everyone,
My feeling is the dedicated time for LocationTech'ers to get
together and raise the CQ's, and hack code is very worthwhile.
We've got some budget we can use to feed hungry & quench
thirsty LocationTecher's.
Regarding the release sprint, I would like to suggest something
that may work well. Projects that want to be part of LocationTech
release train 1.0... speak up to opt-in. Let's pick a deadline to
get CQ's for RT 1.0 in by. Maybe end of January right after the
code sprint?
We can then aim to have them all reviewed by the IP team some time
after, say end of February perhaps. (obviously depending on how
much there is of course) This will require responsiveness from the
projects during the review to cover any back & forth with the
IP team.
I'm not sure it's necessary to have an IP person physically on
site. What we could do instead is ask them to be available by
Skype or Hangout for Q&A a few times during the sprint should
they be needed.
Thoughts?
