The voting went smoothly. I *think* it’s done — I see a “Voting successful” checkmark and “PMC approved” checkmark, although the portlet header on the PMC side says “Commtter Election in Progress”, which is of course inconsistent with the checkmark completion. AFAIK at this point I’m waiting for the portal to send me an email for the NCRF “New Committer Request Form”. Oddly the portlet says “Received NCRF”; I’m not sure what to make of that since I haven’t done anything.

If I recall correctly, the email to the mailing list is just informative, the voting system will email each person who needs to vote in order to vote the committer in individually, and indicate that they have to log onto the portal to vote. So perhaps the mailing list isn't very consequential, but the spatial4j dev mailing list would be the best bet IMO, since Spatial4J devs would be the ones who would need to vote the new committer in.
