Re: [leshan-dev] [leshan-Dev] device management Server

Hi,

We at LTU have implemented this feature in leshan. It is now possible for a third party to be notified when a new device registers at the resource directory. I'm not sure what the LWM2M spec says, but I feel that this is a feature that should be there. We needed this for our IPSO Challenge prototype in order for the monitoring system to know which devices that are connected to our gateway and leshan.

We will also add more features for this in a near future, like getting information about new devices and their capabilities, disconnects and timeouts.

If someone is interested in the source code, just drop me an email.

Regards, Jens

Hi Subhash,

there is no dedicated rest API yet. However, the demo Web UI (contained in leshan-standalone) uses http to communicate with the leshan server. So far, the standalone server is used mainly for demonstration purposes and lacks things like user authentication etc. Maybe you want to re-factor this into a proper Rest-API for leshan (and contribute it)? Subject: [leshan-dev] [leshan-Dev] device management Server

Hi ,

I am trying to use Leshan as management server with another IoT Platform.

I would like to know whether Leshan exposes any RESTful API,  so that an IoT Platform can retrieve the connected devices and device tree of each device.

Thanks

Subhash
