Wim,

EPP package builds includes a JRE in some of the packages as does the Oomph build for the installers.  The Oomph environment (and it's support for a local Maven build) is easy to replicate:

Is there a documentation pointer? Searching for “include jre eclipse” in all variations show only old or irrelevant content. I have the same issues as the java11 thread. This talks about an example project but with no pointers.
