Re: [jnosql-dev] Moving Jakarta Forward: Jakarta NoSQL Approved as anEE4J Project

There is an issue to move the project to EE4J:
Bug 548064 https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=548064
Basically, is the same code as jakarta.nosql: https://github.com/JNOSQL/nosql

The bad news is we gonna break compatibility :(

We don't need to concern about Duke; it is BDB license:

Hello Otavio,

Great, thanks for driving it Forward. Is there anything we can help with, e.g. moving of repositories to the EE4J organization etc.

The logo IMO is not such a huge Problem. Except Maybe CDI (the „gimli“ like figure seems far enough from Duke, so unless it is found to violate other logos) there are not many specs with an actual mascot or logo. I believe Bean Validation also has a Duke-themed logo that might have to Change sooner or later.

Subject: [jnosql-dev] Moving Jakarta Forward: Jakarta NoSQL Approved as anEE4J Project

Hello everyone.
I bring good news, finally, we've finished the paperwork that allows to we have the project approved in its the last stage:
https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/ee4j.nosql

There is not logo defined, I just put the Eclipse JNoSQL with Jakarta one.
Personally, I don't want to spend much time to define a new logo project, but we can run a process to create/vote a logo to the specification.

I wrote some details about:
https://dzone.com/articles/moving-jakarta-forward-jakarta-nosql-has-approved
But, that is what I would like to, there is nothing written on the stone.

Thoughts?
