[jakartaee-tck-dev] Update on running Platform TCK jobs...

Hi all,
First, thank you David Blevins for the email on
Resource Pack Allocations & Maximizing Use", very much appreciated to
hear from you on that topic! I expect there to be more discussion on
the thread you started. Thanks again! :-)
It is good to hear that the Platform TCK team can run as many TCK runs
as we need to.
I am sending this email to make sure that everyone understands that
while we are not limited on the number of TCK runs however, there are
still some limitations:
1. Please do take care to only start one Full Platform/Web Profile TCK
test job at a time. We have seen several system stability issues when
we try to run more than one Platform TCK run at a time.
2. If you need to run multiple TCK jobs for some reason, please do take
care to monitor the jobs occasionally (e.g. check in the morning when
you start your work day or occasionally through out the work day) to
make sure they are not slowly failing repeatedly. More specifically,
when some jobs were failing to start GlassFish, it took a very long time
for each test to run + fail (possibly due to timeouts). A Full Platform
TCK run could take a few days due to how long it takes for each test to
fail.
