[jakartaee-spec-project-leads] May 1 deadline is fast approaching

We are fast approaching the May 1 deadline for specifications to be in final ballot. This requires that each specification project PR in the specifications committee project (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pulls) be updated with final versions of the TCK, specifications and a CCR for the proposed compatible implementation. We have the following specifications that need to complete these steps:

Jakarta Messaging 3.1 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/455)
Jakarta Concurrency 3.0 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/449)
Jakarta EL 5.0 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/429)
Jakarta WebSocket 2.1 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/440)
Jakarta Servlet 6.0 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/434)
Jakarta Authentication 3.0 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/460)
Jakarta Server Pages 3.1 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/435)
Jakarta Authorization 2.1 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/461)
Jakarta Standard Tag Library 3.0 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/457)
Jakarta Connectors 2.1 (https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/458)

The link in parenthesis is the specifications committee project PR for the specification project review ballot tasks. Anyone from the associated specification project team can help to complete the steps associated with the PR checklists, so take a look at the current status, and reach out to the specification committee member mentor assigned to the PR for help and guidance on any task that is unclear. If there are TCK tasks that need help add them to that PR to raise visibility.

You can also send an email to the jakartaee-platform developer discussions <jakartaee-platform-dev@xxxxxxxxxxx> list and join the weekly call that happens every Tuesday via Zoom (https://eclipse.zoom.us/j/596957191) at 11:00 EDT/16:00 CEST.
