I would hope the project leads list would be wide enough, but if you want
wider you may need to go to the community list.  There is an ee4j-build
list that has discussed items such as this, but I don't know that it has
the same reach as the project leads list.

If you're worried about flooding the community list with this topic, you
could publish to the ee4j-build list and then post a message to the community
list telling people about the discussion on the build list if they have opinions
on that they should post there.

Personally, I would probably just send it to the community list if you don't
think the project leads list is enough.
