Guess you have quite a backlog with Jakarta EE 8 and 9 certification, so it may be a bit early to worry about other specs like NoSQL or MVC ;-)

Defining some new profiles for both of them (especially MVC could simply be stuffed into the Web Profile or a new "Micro Profile" or whatever we end up calling it based on REST, CDI, JSON and very few other specs instead of the whole Servlet stack) will be an interesting challenge for the Spec Committee and other bodies, until then I assume you don't have to worry about them yet.

Do note these are issues with the Jakarta Authentication TCK, not with the Jakarta Security one.

Of course, Jakarta Security is effected by Jakarta Authentication.

There are a few in there.  I've asked for them to be moved over to the appropriate projects and for the right labels to be used.

I suspect we'll see some other's make similar issues and we'll need to get good at bumping people in the right direction.

That's been implemented in Apache TomEE and we've filed a few challenges.  We're also issuing a blog post tomorrow on how people can help with certification in general.

Definitely help is very welcome.

If your server doesn't have a tab, just create one by copying one of the existing tabs.  If you have multiple distributions that are each slightly different, feel free to add additional tabs.
