Thanks for considering my small contributions as as significant :)

However I sadly don't have the experience to take such an important role here.

Sorry, late to the party here.

I certainly like to step up to lead the common annotations projects. As I'm much involved with the security specs, I'm already looking into (and have looked into) the security package of command annotations. I've also pushed quite a number of proposals for the DataSourceDefinition annotation.

From JSF managed beans, but also from working with CDI I'm quite up to date with the annotations in the main package.

All together I feel I would be a good candidate for this project as lead.

Otherwise if a new committer vote like we saw for a few other projects was possible, I would be happy to help either way even if it was just a committer role. I don't want to do too many at once, but it is a relatively small spec similar to JSR 330 (@Inject)
