Good morning everyone,

We extended the Open IoT Challenge 4.0 deadline by a week, to end of day Nov 20, to give submitters more time to propose their ideas. We received 55 great proposals so far. It's shaping up to be another great year for open IoT solutions!

New this year, we asked submitters to blog or create a video about their proposals. This was to encourage them to really think the solution through before submitting their idea.

Here are some of the proposals (you can find all of them on our Twitter @EclipseIoT):

- Gas level monitoring in African hospitals

- Pollution tracking

- Smart Water Bottles

- Smart City app

- Seizure tracking app

- Green House with aquaponic system

- and more.
