[iot-wg] Help promote the Open IoT Challenge 4.0

Hi everyone,
As discussed in the working group call today, it would be really helpful if you could promote the Open IoT Challenge to your communities this week.
You can encourage submitters to use open IoT technologies and Eclipse IoT projects you are involved in. The deadline for submission is November 13.

The Eclipse IoT working group, hosted at the Eclipse Foundation, has announced the Open IoT Challenge 4.0. This is your chance to show the world your awesome solution idea! Watch this YouTube video to get inspired: https://youtu.be/xdCFomHcgP4The Challenge encourages IoT enthusiasts and developers like you to build innovative solutions for the Internet of Things using open standards and open source technology. Last year's Challenge was very successful and yielded many great solutions!The submission deadline for solution proposals is November 13, 2017. You will have until March 15 to build your IoT solutions. The winners will be announced at the end of March 2018.This year, Bitreactive, CONTACT Software, Eurotech, Intel, Red Hat, and Sierra Wireless are sponsoring the challenge. If your proposal is selected as part of the top 10 proposals, you will get hardware from the sponsors and $150 to get started! But, all proposals, not only the top 10, are in the running for the final prizes.What are you waiting for? Submit your proposal today!
