Hello everyone,

Here is an update about the type of content the Eclipse IoT Newsletter will include.

Each newsletter will include: 
  • 1 article from an architect's perspective. An article sharing a point of view on a specific Eclipse IoT topic.
  • 3-4 articles about Eclipse IoT projects. These articles should be more technical and show users how to get started with the project or how to do a specific thing using this project. 
  • Community News. Interesting articles from the community. Please send a 1-2 sentence blurb about the news item for us to use as the summary.
  • Events. Upcoming events the community is organizing or participating in.
  • New member news. Welcoming new members to our community.
  • Project News. New projects and releases
Format:
  • We will not be hosting the content on our website. Please plan to post the article on your blog or your company’s blog.
  • Please send a 1-2 sentence blurb about the news item for us to use as the summary.
As a reminder, the newsletter will be published quarterly and the first issue will be sent at the end of September. You can subscribe here. 

Volunteer your article soon to get a spot in the first newsletter! The deadline for content is September 15.

This is exciting because it's an opportunity to tell the world how great our open IoT community is and to share information about our IoT projects, members, events and our initiatives. It'll be a great channel to reach a targeted and captive audience.

Content and Deadline 
I'll share more information about the newsletter content next week. The content deadline for the first issue is Sept 15.

Please note that this will be replacing the IoT Monthly Community Update I've been sharing with you. I'd be pleased to answer any questions or concerns you have, simply send them my way by email.
