Hi Ian, As we have discussed, I have been quite interested in understanding the composition of IoT solutions out there. How about a question along these lines? Thoughts on this everyone? What elements make up your IoT solution? ( check all that apply ): Voice recognition Audio playback/speaker Camera/video capture LCD display Touch screen Machine learning Computer vision Analytics Edge node device Gateway or hub device Sensors (in) Actuators (out) Secure element or Trusted execution environment Mobile application Cloud hosted user application User application running on a device Backend web services developed in-house 3rd party web services Other? The results are available at: 2016: http://www.slideshare.net/IanSkerrett/iot-developer-survey-2016 2015: http://www.slideshare.net/IanSkerrett/iot-developer-survey-2015 We are now planning for the 2017 version of the survey. The first step is to start with the 2016 questions and decide upon the questions for the 2017 survey. At the next IoT WG call, I’d like to review the following document to get input from the members on what questions they would like to see in the survey.
