MPC is used to generate build script (make, solutions, etc) for our examples
during our make install phase.
We use a modified version of MPC to do so.

In our installers these example build scripts are included, the installer also
contains a source tarball which includes all the source and tools required to
build your own installer so also includes (the modified) MPC.

MPC is only used during build time
