the advice I received from Al is that we only distribute source for the Go client library. A quick search seems to indicate that this is a common approach, similar to C on Linux, as distributing binaries would involve a proliferation of builds.

However I am not this is really the case. First of all "go" executables
are, to my knowledge, statically linked. Meaning that Paho could not
distribute any form of binary. Which would be fine if they really only
distribute source code of their solution.

Second, the source code is there and it seems not too big. So it could
be checked.

I don't see a big difference here between Java libraries and a go library.

So let me know what you think!
