FYI, Google Summer of Code will happen again for us this year. Just like for the previous editions, it would be great to see some proposals coming from the Eclipse IoT community! A few ideas: - SMS transport for CoAP in Californium
- “Reference” porting of Wakaama on Arduino
- Integration of Tiaki in Kura in the form of a high-level service discovery service (that could eventually be bound to different concrete implementations in the future, e.g UPnP, …)
- …
I’d be happy to get your feedback on the –perhaps not so good?– ideas above, as well as other ideas you may have :-) Also happy to help with the mentoring should you want to pursue an idea but are not sure whether will have all the cycles required to mentor the students.
