Re: [interceptors-dev] Need to restage?

Arjan,

Thanks -- I was hoping we could help you but I suspect it was probably just easier for you to run the two jobs:

I'll leave it to someone else to consider extending the stage time. TBH, when we did this using maven.java.net, we had no limitation on the length of time something could be staged (at least not that I knew about). There maybe other issues involved with extending this time-period. I don't know the details.

Thanks for restaging, Arjan.

Hi,

Okay, Interceptors 2.0.0 is refreshed.

Btw, if 60 days retention is a potential issue with our process, can't we ask for say 120 days? It's not that we stage gigabytes of data, do we?

Kind regards,
Arjan Tijms

Hi,

It should be done with ease. For a clean restage I do normally remove the existing bits before running the script. I can do that now.

Kind regards,

Hi,

In the Jakarta EE Spec committee call, David noted that the Interceptors bundles may expire from OSSRH before they can be finalized and pushed out of staging. It would appear we have a week or two to rectify this before it's truly gone (it was staged 27 days ago and OSSRH artifacts live for 60 days), but I wanted to check with the team. It would appear that a restage build would suffice to extend the life of staged bits -- and presumably this can be done by any project committer.

Is there any reason not to just rerun 1_interceptors-build-and-stage, in two weeks or less?
