Hi,

Jens has indicated that the deadline for projects to apply for GSoC [1] is close (Jan 23rd).

I think that GSoC would be an excellent opportunity for us to get some extra work done that is not on top of our lists currently and to also attract new people to the project. What we as a project need to provide is a mentor for each student that decides to work with us.

What do you think about the idea? And more importantly, would you be willing to act as a mentor?
